When the sky turned yellow green

I left twitter cause it was XS fit for my writing style. I got rid of the non-essential writing on instagram cause it was, well, not essential. So here I am, making another attempt to be consistent with my writing.

What do I want write about, absolutely anything usual, which suddenly became unusual.

16th September

I took an Uber and the driver got off to get a pass. I enquired what was it about. He started talking and then didn’t stop. He spoke how its difficult for him to drive with the new regulations, how his owner doesn’t compensate him if he gets fined, how the passengers want him to go fast and get fined! How Uber has made it so tough for him to earn a living, wishing if he could go back to the old offline taxi days.

There are more than 20+ brands of shampoos that consumers can choose from. They are sold at million of small stores. Store owners decide which brand deserves visibility. They bargain well with the big FMCG companies. Uber drivers are the store fronts that provide taxi services. There are only 2 options for them to get customers. They can’t bargain. Monopolies.

17th September

Most leaders can’t listen. Its not that they don’t want to. They can’t cause they get conditioned that way.

When you are expected to have answers to difficult questions, you need to have an opinion and a conviction about your opinion. When you do it very often, it becomes a habit. So if you are used to always analyzing and making a statement about things, how will you not give an opinion or make a counter argument or try to immediately solve the problem.

Only if they could slot a day to just listen to the problems and create a problem statement. How refreshing it would be to be heard!
