Welcome Tony Saigh to lool ventures!

Our commitment to working in close partnership with founders in the startup journey holds as true today as to when we first started lool.

Here is what you should know about Tony:

Tony moved to Israel with his wife and four children from London in the summer of 2017. He first came to Israel in 2000 and soon after joined NomadIQ, a mobile location based services startup, in a business development role. After NomadIQ’s acquisition by OmniSky (NASDAQ:OMNY) in 2001, Tony was relocated back to London.

He was an early Skype senior hire in 2005, a founding member of the mobile team that grew the business from 0–100m mobile users. While at Skype, Tony was instrumental in establishing and growing its mobile business from early inception, driving product strategy and executing strategic partnerships across the mobile ecosystem.

He will be bringing his hard won operational “scale up” experience and an extensive global network of customers, partners, talent and investors — working hand in hand with founders on some of the hardest challenges of growing startups. His experience and pedigree is not easily come by here in Israel, so we’re excited to have him as part of the lool family and the wider startup community!
