You came to my life as a surprise, a little color in my sky. Fell on my destiny and landed on my heart. From the day we met until the day we parted ways, I never once felt alone.

We knew we were good together and never wanted to be apart. On the walls, our story is told as we navigate through the memories of our golden days. There was no giving up with you by my side, only trying again.

Your smile always lightened up my days; it turned good days into great ones.

But lately, you haven’t been smiling much…Your face is now haunted by sorrow…Tears fall from your eyes as I attempt to understand why you’re hurting.

You’re ready to talk yet I’m unsure.

“I don’t feel good here, anymore. Our story was beautiful but I’m afraid it’s now over.”

I felt small, almost invisible. Did I do something wrong?

“The love you give me no longer fits in my heart. It’s too big. I’m overwhelmed by my feelings and yours.”.

I can squeeze in, make myself tiny. I promise I can find a way to fit. Do you really need to go? Tell me, how to make things right again!

“My heart is skinny: you may squeeze in but it won’t be comfortable. You should find the right fit, your size.”

You’re right it’s not my size. I thought it would adjust to me but I was wrong. I’ll put it back in the box. Be careful, don’t break it again…
